Landscape Institute North East Annual Public Lecture

Thailand, Highland & Secret Island: Landscape and Power in Bond Films
by Tim Waterman

Wednesday 21 June 2017, 6-8 pmMining Institute, Neville Hall, Westgate Road, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 1SE

We are honoured to be welcoming Tim Waterman to the North East to give our annual public lecture. An engaging and thought-provoking speaker, Tim’s topic is somewhat different to our more typical events which tend to focus on technical and professional skills.

Our venue is the Lecture Theatre at the Mining Institute which, if you have never seen it before, is well worth a visit in its own right.

Tim teaches at the University of Greenwich and the Bartlett School of Architecture in London. For six years he was honorary editor of “Landscape”, the journal of the Landscape Institute, to which he continues to contribute.

The event is free to both members and the general public but booking is necessary.
